Reyan Carpenter

Founder & Chief Creative Officer

Reyan Carpenter founded Capitol Marketing Group, Inc. (CMG), a strategic marketing communications firm, in 1991. Over the last 18 years, Reyan has provided the creative direction and copy writing services that have won awards for CMG, and customers for its clients.

Reyan offers 25+ years of marketing expertise from both sides of the desk. He began his career as an in-house copywriter and media buyer for an international software company. Next, Reyan managed U.S. exhibitions, advertising, and public relations for a London-based data communications manufacturer. Prior to starting CMG, Reyan was co-founder and Vice President of Capitol Exhibit Services, a leading exhibit/museum design and fabrication firm.

Reyan’s focus is on creating synergy of words, imagery and strategy in new media and web-based marketing programs that accomplish the client’s business objectives. His experience within corporate, as an entrepreneur, and as a creative director provides clients with a unique philosophy: Business strategy, marketing strategy and creative strategy are inextricably linked.

Reyan has developed and implemented web-based demand generation campaigns, public relations programs, sales promotions, and advertising campaigns; designed and managed million-dollar exhibit programs; and has written, edited, and produced brochures, direct mail campaigns, and product documentation of all kinds.  He holds a BS from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
